Bearing in mind Russia’s active participation and responsibility to overcome the limits of social and economic development in the global context, the author examines the main achievement of the Russian Federation in the sphere of development assistance since 2006, the year of the Russia’s G8 presidency. The author highly estimates the intention of the country to continue to provide assistance to developing countries by means of fostering the aid flows in times of a crisis, and considers it as an important indicator of country’s responsibility for development in mid-term and long-term perspective. },
